BINOS explains the automatic milling machine

On “Future Day” our kids have learned our production process. Eeverything from technical drawing to end product. They were also active and produced a smart phone holder for their home.

To lacquer the parts, the kids needed to prepare them beforehand. Hard edges needed to be grinded. To personalize each smart phone holder initials were engraved in the holder. During the lacquering process the children were happy about the colour selection. Especially matt black and baby blue were totally in. After the lacquering process the kids had the chance to see also other departments at BINOS such as Controlling, Sales and Marketing.

Before lacquering the parts need to be grinded

Most interesting was working with the computer and drawing technical elements with the CAD program. We have divided the group so everybody could test their drawing skills. The children couldn’t believe that there was a time when technical drawings were made on the drawing board, so oldschool… But even the kids needed to learn that too. BINOS just says: “Back to the roots”

At the end of the day the participants gone home with so many positive impressions.
BINOS is already looking forward to its junior staff and wishes great success for the future 😉
